Staying In Shape With Prevail Boxing & Ultracor
To be honest, It took me a couple of years to get back in the fitness route again. I have no clue what's been holding me back, I mean, Los Angeles is all about that life. Fitness, wellness, health, you name it. Not to mention, my husband is a PT and boxing coach. But I have no intention in analyzing the past, I am happy to be where I am today.
I joined Prevail Boxing in January and it's been life changing, no joke. All of a sudden, I am eager to wake up early and get to a 7 am class. Why? Well, simple formula; When you find something that is beyond just a repetitive exercise it becomes fun and you're not counting the minutes. You are on the constant route of development and you become proud of your progress. Also, Prevail is a community. People are friends, they encourage each other, celebrate each others birthdays and become worried if you don't show up to class. I love that! Once you become part of a community, you just don't want to miss out. Makes sense, right? I never thought boxing would be my mojo, but here I am. It's so incredibly fun. In the (short) 45 minutes I sweat beyond belief - my body has become so much more toned. I still have a long way to go, but I know I'm on a good path.
I also want to take a moment and mention what I am wearing in this post. It's a new activewear brand called Ultracor and I'm obsessed! I'll tell you why. Until now, I've been buying workout gear from either Nike or Lulu Lemon. Both made in China. I absolutely love the fact that Ultracor is made in Los Angeles. The price tag is quite high, but the quality is insane. And honestly, if you work out 5-6 times a week like I do, you want GOOD quality! Check out the website here (they have so many fun styles) and look for the leggings that are high rise and have - wait for it - anti camel toe lining! I mean. You can thank me later. Oh, and use code: ALIA for 15% off your purchase.
